This vision inspired the creation of our Leadership Scholarship Program – now in its third edition – designed to support aspiring leaders on their journey toward shaping the future of aviation.

1. How did you find out about the Sofema Leadership Scholarship Program?

2. What motivated you to apply for the scholarship?
" The European and French aviation sectors are undergoing a significant transformation— embracing decarbonization, new technologies, and enhanced operational resilience and safety. Effective leadership is crucial for navigating. As a player in this field, I firmly believe that strengthening the capabilities of future leaders is key to successful adaptation, and this scholarship offered a powerful way to do just that."
3. What were the most valuable lessons or skills you gained through the program?
" The most valuable takeaway was the understanding that leadership isn't a static skill; it's a constantly evolving human capacity requiring ongoing refinement. The program emphasized that techniques vary depending on the situation, highlighting the importance of continuous learning through experience and practical application to achieve results effectively."
4. How has the scholarship influenced your confidence, mindset, or career opportunities?
" The scholarship provided invaluable opportunities to both solidify existing knowledge and acquire new skills. I particularly benefited from learning about goal-oriented communication, win-win negotiation techniques, the power of body language and public speaking, and the vital role of continuous learning in team development. This has significantly boosted my confidence and provided me with a more effective approach to achieving both personal and professional goals."
5. What did you enjoy most about learning through Sofema Online?
