This program of 3 separate courses, each with its own completion certificate, has been specifically designed to meet the needs of existing CAMO staff who are part of the transition process from the EASA Part M Subpart G environment to Part CAMO.
EASA Part M CAMO Transition Training Package
SofemaOnline provides a training program to update CAMO team members on the latest regulations, including an introduction to both EASA Part CAMO & SMS for Part CAMO.
The program consists of 3 separate courses introducing the delegate to EASA Part CAMO as well as SMS for CAMO and additionally addressing the differences to EASA Part M introduced by Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/1383 and Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/270.
This Special Package consists of the following:
Part M Effective Mar 2020 - Consolidated Differences - For Large Aircraft with VO
The primary purpose of this training is to provide an in-depth review of the changes affecting Part M for Large Aircraft introduced by Commission Implementing Regulations (EU) 2020/270 and (EU) 2019/1384.
Please Note - This Training has been redacted to focus on the specific differences between Part M and Part M (2020). Be able to use the regulation to proactively manage the Continuing Airworthiness (CA) of your aircraft.
This redacted training is not appropriate for persons who have limited or no prior Part M experience
It is recommended that persons with limited experience should complete the 2-day version of Part M 2020.
EASA Part CAMO Regulatory Obligations with VO
EASA Part CAMO Implementation date - 24 March 2020. Following the implementation date In accordance with Article 4 of Regulation (EU) 1321/2014 as amended, after 24 September 2021, there should be no more Part-M Subpart F and Part-M Subpart G organisations. (Existing Part M Subpart G approvals will no longer be valid from 24 September 21).
Part-CAMO provides requirements for Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO): Compared with Part-M Subpart G organisation, the main difference is the introduction of SMS principles.
Part-CAMO introduces the familiar concept of a Management System, including Safety Management SMS & Compliance Monitoring (The old term Quality System has been discontinued).
Section A for Industry & Section B for the Regulatory Authority is retained.
EASA Part CAMO - SMS - Regulatory Obligations
From 24 March 2020, Annex Vc Part-CAMO will become a valid EASA approval.
From 24 September 2021, Part-M Subpart G organisation approval will no longer be available. (All existing CAMO organisations must migrate to the new approval format by this date.)
